As with all plants, cannabis plants benefit from occasional pruning. If done properly, it is possible to double yield through pruning alone. Pruning can lead to short, wide plants with lots of bud sites instead of tall, skinny plants with only a few large buds if desired by the gardener.
The Veg Room is where baby plants from the Nursery become teen plants and are grown to maturity before being moved into the Flower Room. The majority of the cannabis plants leafy growth and elongation will occur in Veg, however stretching will continue for 2-3 weeks into a 12/12 photoperiod (Flower) where they’ll grow another 30% in size before shifting energy to flower mass production.
The nursery is where it all begins. Just like the name implies, baby plants are nursed in to teenage plants so they can be moved to the vegetative rooms. The way you start a plant is up to you - from seeds or clones - but whatever method you choose, the ultimate goal of the nursery room is to grow baby plants quickly without damaging them.
